Eligibility: 3rd-12th grade 4-H’ers
Get set for a week of building and programming robots using the LEGO Mindstorms RCX and NXT. Campers will learn mechanical design, construction, skills while using LEGO bricks, beams, gears, motors, and sensors to build a robot that can perform needed tasks on its own. No previous robotics or programming experience required and all materials will be provided. This exciting four day camp will follow the schedule listed below:
Day 1 – Build first robot and program using Timing, then program using Touch Sensors
Day 2 – Program using Light Sensor, then Rotation Sensor, then multiple sensors to follow a line
Day 3 – On the game board running missions
